Sports Journalism Program

Throughout history, the world has relied on journalists to keep us informed about current events and issues. In today’s digital world, the field of journalism has and will continue to evolve and expand—careers like multimedia editor, social media specialist, podcaster, content writer, and more have become increasingly necessary to keep the world in the know. This Program introduces your child to the business of Sports Journalism.

Volunteer’s need for our Youth Journalism Program. Participants will be responsible for Recording Games, Interviewing Players, Coaches, Parents & Spectators. Video Footage will be Live Streamed on SAA TV for all to watch live or watch later.

Our Basketball Program is designed for basketball players ages 5-14 who want to enhance their overall basketball skills. Groups will be broken up by skill level to enhance your experience and make sure each player is appropriately challenged. Our Program will be led by Sports Academy Coaches and Trainers who are masters in maximizing your game. Each of these sessions will be instructional, focused, and most of all, fun. These camps will complement our space by offering camps to the younger aged athletes while utilizing some of the same techniques taught to our older groups.

Our Basketball Camp is designed for basketball players ages 5 thru 14. We will be teaching and reinforcing all fundamentals of the game (Ball Handling, Shooting/Finishing, Passing, and Game Situations). Our Camp will be led by Sports Academy Coaches and Trainers who are masters of maximizing your gains! Each of the camps will be instructional, focused, and most of all, fun.
