Coach Jamara

Hello My name is Jamara McMillan and I’m one of the twins. I fall second in line of the bunch. I was born in Lumberton, NC January 7, 1986. I currently reside in Raleigh, NC. I’ve played sports all my life, started when i was 5. I started running track for the AAU team Durham Striders. Which then turned into basketball, Volleyball, Soccer and Baseball. I attended Lowes Grove Middle School where I Played basketball, Volleyball, Soccer and ran Track. from there Went to Jordan High for two years, then transferred to Riverside High School to finish out my High School Years. In High School I played Basketball, Volleyball and Ran Track. Went on to college at Fayetteville State University where I played basketball for 3 years. Sence then i have found out i have a love for football. I’ve been playing for the past 7 years. I play 3 different styles of football: (8 womans flag, 5womens flag, and 7womens flag.) I also play coed in a local league out of Raleigh under Tri-Sports. I have 1 national Championship in %women football along with 1 World Championship in 8women. I was once ranked 8 in the top DBs in the nation of 5women Football. On the field I play QB/WR/S/CB and Special Teams, The organization I am apart of is the Carolina United, we are what you call a family and an organization. We not only travel and play football together, but we also give back to the community and the youth. I’ve been centered around sports and training all my life. I’ve played sports for 31 years and love every bit of it.  Having that experience it’s played a big part in my life as a whole. I believe sports can be an escape to relive stress and build character.
